大崗國中是男女合校的學校，班級內有男有女，藉由本次性別議題融入教案教學，喚起學生對性別平等的重視。消除男女之別刻板印象。例如男主外，女主內。家事是家裡的一份子都應該分擔；友善環境；職業選擇按照能力，而非性別；交友安全。本次教案是以八年級為教學對象。透過藝術課程的「鑑賞」，以及「表現」等能力展現，協助學生觀察、探索各種繪本、圖像所傳遞的角色、色彩運用等訊息，並展現突破性別迷思、偏見與歧視的藝術創作與分享。 配合臺灣女孩日、世界人權日等節慶，向學生介紹不同的藝術家，期望同學可以接觸正確的性別平等價值觀，與世界接軌，並可以以線條或色彩表達自己對議題的想法，為弱勢的人發聲，推動世界和平。
