Series of recordings I made in the mountains in the Chiang Mai region, Thailand, near the border with Myanmar. All recordings were made around midnight in a small valley I can’t find back on the map. One side of the hill had a small tea plantation, the other hillsides were covered with impenetrable vegetation. You can hear all kinds of night-time animals such as owls, insects and loud frogs. The temperature was very agreeable at night. I listen to the recordings to relax or to cast my mind back to the mythical tropical rainforest. Sony PCM-D50

To realize that sound I used the sound of little taps on a steel pipe. I just applied Paulstretch effect that creates a dark atmosphere and gives us the impression that souls are among us.Type de son : Itération variée (V'')Je trouve ce son a un timbre brillant, on sent qu'il retranscrit quelque chose de spirituel. Le son parait être plutot lisse. Le son comporte bien une composante de vibration mais très peu prononcée.Le son démarre violemment et se répète périodiquement. Les variations sont scalaires, on écoute plusieurs fois un son plus ou moins semblables à chaque fois, qui a le temps de baisser en intensité avant de se répéter.Ce n'a pas été filtré et n'a pas subi d'équalisation.
