This course aims to help students (1) understand words about Marine Education; (2) employ reading strategies (i.e., prediction) to help increase their understanding of the teaching materials; (3) learn recent situations of beaches and oceans through reading the teaching materials and (4) come up with their own solutions to saving beaches and oceans.

The title of Kang Hsuan Book 3 Lesson 5 is ―"what do you plan to do? " Thelesson topic is mainly about encouraging students to help people and caringabout the world. The dialogue and reading passage of L5 provide ways tohelp the people and the environment. Therefore, this teaching plan isdesigned not only to help students understand what they can do to make theworld become a better place but also to lead them to know the issue ofrainforest by reading the story book―The Great Kapok Tree. As a result,making students to care about the environmental issues is the focus of thisteaching plan.

本單元主題是Houses & Apartments，在Story Time單元中，Denny準備搬新家，於是請好朋友們幫忙整理傢俱，卻不小心遺失了手機，四個中學生展開尋找手機之旅，究竟他們會在哪裡找到呢？在Fun with Words單元中，Patricia和Kay老師要教大家如何正確擺放傢俱，以及從室內環境分析主人翁的性格與習慣。還有More to Learn單元，Joe老師要告訴我們跟「家」相關的名言佳句；在Words in Context單元中，我們會看到更多高科技、高人工智慧的居家設計，讓人彷彿走入電影中的科幻場景！
