The title of Kang Hsuan Book 3 Lesson 5 is ―"what do you plan to do? " The lesson topic is mainly about encouraging students to help people and caring about the world. The dialogue and reading passage of L5 provide ways to help the people and the environment. Therefore, this teaching plan is designed not only to help students understand what they can do to make the world become a better place but also to lead them to know the issue of rainforest by reading the story book―The Great Kapok Tree. As a result, making students to care about the environmental issues is the focus of this teaching plan.
