你是道地的台北人嗎？先別急著承認！跟著我們一起來看看1940年代的台北吧！不要以為「古時候」就是又窮又苦，那時候的台北正是個被各種文化衝擊卻又彼此融合之繁華又時髦的大都市喔！漫畫不只是漫畫，也可以融合歷史題材做出有深度的作品，《北城百畫帖》以及《異人茶跡》描述的是同一個地方但不同時空的魅力。《北城百畫帖》的故事背景是日本統治下的台灣，當時店裡的女服務生叫做女給(ㄐㄧˇ)，除了為客人送上茶水飲料之外，也像美麗的花蝴蝶環繞在客人身旁，算是街頭巷尾的小小名人喔！而「喫茶店」跟「珈琲廳」的差別在現代人眼裡其實有點微妙呢！《異人茶跡》訴說的則是外國商人陶德結合廈門買辦李春生，兩人同心協力，齊心將烏龍茶推銷到世界上的偉大故事。台北不只是中日文化的交接處，同時也是瀰漫著烏龍茶香的浪漫所在喔！
