Strange combination of sounds: I passed this place shortly before 4 in the afternoon, knew, that there was a bell, got the recorder out (SONY PCM M10) and started to record. I´ve recorded this sound produced by a large water wheel of 4 meters diameter, in the historical part of Augsburg Bavaria, part of town where early industry and work shops used water energy for different purposes. This water wheel does not drive any gear any more, it is just for to give an impression of that old water driven industry.
