農曆年節乃中國傳統重要節慶之一，在過去農業社會以農事為重心的生活型態，比較現今資訊社會以速度為訴求的時代，有著更多的人情味，透過「正月調」的教學，讓學生明瞭過去老祖先的生活歷程，從中習取智慧結晶，並與同儕互動當中，體認出其中之深義。

培養孩子正確使用工具書-------字典利用語文遊戲學習單的內容，來引導孩子字典具備的功能，與查字典的正確方法，透過有趣的語文學習單，讓小朋友判斷出「字典銀行」成員的字有什麼玄機？進而了解生字部首的概念，學會從部首中查生字的正確方法。透過「破解密室咒語」的學習單，來了解生字的組成是「部首」＋「偏旁」，需正確判斷部首再找偏旁，才能拼湊成「字」，以便能更進一步的訓練小朋友，如何使用工具書來查平常不懂得生字，進而使小朋友了解從字典中可以查閱「單字」的相關解釋，及學習生字的詞語應用與培養造句能力等更深入的用法，來增進字彙及國學常識。
