At the frayed edges of the electrified grid, barely audible and nearly covered up by the whirr and dull roar of life continuing, there lies a space whose possibilities extend far beyond what we can imagine in the present. This edge of immanent potential is a space of creative invention and political resistance. Tunnel's Edge was recorded with a Tascam DR100mkii sometime in 2013. One sound taken from the 'Microblocks, vol.1' percussive found sound sample-pack. The sample-pack features 135 unique field recordings culled from the ordinary soundscapes of Santa Cruz, CA.
