THEME - A Night at the Asylum: sounds that drive you crazy For this piece, to sound were sampled from a previously recorded track. Sound 1 was the screeching of a door opening, which was used at the beginning of this piece. Sound 2 was a rubbish bin falling on the floor, which was looped over to form the rest of this piece. These sounds were brought into the same pitch, their speeds lowered and reverb was added. Lastly, this track was duplicated and its pitch changed which gave it a harmonic effect. This piece is disturbing, mainly due to the clanking that can be heard. The start also gives the impression that something is about to be announced.
