After listening some more, I would cut the first minute off in preference of the pure drone. A processed version of my CPU recorded with a pick-up coil (or whatever that thing is called). Amplified, then 50% positive contrast and reverb. A few imperfections here and there and also could do with a few more eq cuts around 700hz & 4K. I spent so much time trying to tame the noise that I neglected the other frequency problems. But hey, I'm an amateur. It won't stand up to much more amplification without introducing more noise, some distortion here and there can be noticed in headphones, but it's very subtle, at least to my ears.
