此課程設計最主要是讓學生在設計蒙德里安畫前的一個前置活動，藉由分割正方形及著色，去畫出一幅蒙德里安畫作。而蒙德里安謎題就就是在n*n方形內切格數個不同的長方形，求最大面積與最小面積的最小差距。
