鹿港地區為文化之重鎮，具有百年以上歷史的古蹟寺廟遍佈大街小巷，其中神明出巡繞境為傳承傳統民俗科儀文化的一環，而隨著科技的發展，遶境時的三太子陣頭活動，逐漸轉為電控之電音三太子是一大趨勢，不僅可解決人工操控三太子之體力耗損，亦可增添文化的豐富性，展現多元面貌。本專題「三太子動茲動茲」共分為三部分，此教案為「繪圖篇」，運用「逆向工程」的理念來協助國中生了解簡單機械手臂的相關知能。從工程學習的角度來看，逆向工程是一個可幫助學生快速且有效學習工程設計的方式；通常傳統產品設計流程是由概念到設計圖樣，再製造出產品，這種流程稱之為正向工程，而逆向工程原意上是依據現有之產品，像是實物、零件、軟體或影像等作為研究對象，應用現代設計方法學、生產工程學、材料學等有關的專業知識，來進行系統分析和研究、探索其關鍵技術，進而開發出相同或更為先進的產品或技術。本專題取逆向工程之精神，在教學的操作上，先讓學生透過分組討論機械手臂應用於產業之現況，而後分析其原理、構造設計、材料、組裝、製作與生產等，搭配「Rhino3D軟體」與「iRhino 3D APP」學習3D建模與3D列印，以利學生進行知識與技能之整合，並結合生活情境，從中培養創新與問題解決之能力。
