As with most files in this pack, this would have been made starting with noise or a simple tone that was progressively mangled and resampled multiple times, primarily through abusing the Warp feature inside of Ableton Live. This is the monotonal version of "granular digisynth hits 2 chrome fifths" also in this pack. Some of the hits remind me of an arrow striking a target and vibrating, albeit a very synthetic arrow.
