Percussion is propulsive. Here, we must figure out how to transform through sound the dead weight of the present into an explosion with enough energy to exit from life under capitalism. Hahn Kick #2 was recorded in Hahn Student Services at UCSC with a Tascam Dr100. One sound taken from the 'Microblocks, vol.1' percussive found sound sample-pack. The sample-pack features 135 unique field recordings culled from the ordinary soundscapes of Santa Cruz, CA.
