繪本以呂紹澄校長的《創意神豬》小說為故事原型，以客家原生文化「義民祭」為核心，串聯不同世代間之願望，並運用AR、VR等魔幻寫實之筆法，呈現「穿越」的想像，打造不同世代間溝通橋梁之繪本，以達親子共讀之目的，製作一本富含趣味性之繪本。

　　「苔蘚兄妹」是一篇原住民古老的互助生態傳說，呈現賽夏族傳統生活價值，也傳達大自然生態的運作，與原住民族友善的與大自然共生滅。此故事背景包含山林與海洋生態，不僅傳遞生物間互助的溫暖，也傳達生態保育及生物多樣性概念。　　故事是這樣開始的，來自海洋的苔蘚兄妹，踏上陸地之後，走進森林，遇到了各式各樣的動植物，在互相幫忙、相處下，成為森林裡的一份子。而與賽夏族的相遇，則是發生在賽夏族的男子成年禮考驗中，名為亞洛的孩子，在考驗中遇險，巧遇了苔蘚兄妹的故事......
