This is Severe Thunderstorm Watch #463 for Allegan, Barry, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren counties in Southwestern and South Central MI, and from St. Josef to Holland on Lame Michigan and from St. Josef to Holland 5 Naughtical Miles offshore to midlake on Lake Michigan. This was recorded at approximately 6:32 PM Eastern Daylight Time. This was recorded using a Midland WR100 weather radio and an APH Bookport Plus. Unfortunately, due to where I was when the watch came through, I was unable to capture the SAME tones, WR100 special watch tone, or even the 1050HZ beep. However, in the next watch I was able to capture all 3.

Waterfall sounds recorded in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, California, at Golden Fall on the Berry Creek trail. 27 January, 2016.Given the recent rainfall, the creeks were rather active.Recording setup was ORTF, positioned about 20 feet bck from the main fall, using two Sennheiser MKH8040s, into a Roland R-26 recorder. High frequencies have been boosted to compensate for the windshields used.
