Sound recorded at the end of The "Burial of the Sardine", a ceremony celebrating the end of carnival with the parody of a burial. After burying the Sardine at the beach San Sebastian, the procession -including the grief ladies and the children's batucada- returns towards la Plaรงa de la Barceloneta. At the corner between Carrer Comte de Santa Clara and Carrer d'Escuder a policeman stops them. The women explain they have to go and leave the empty coffin at the flower shop en Plaรงa Poeta Boscร�, so they have to pass. You can hear the walkie. The batucada playis louder, then takes the left turn towards the square. The recording follows the grief ladies until the flower shop: "We come to leave the dead!" they say, joyfully. Recorded in February 2016 Barceloneta Zoom H4n.

This was recorded next to the shore of the Tennessee River near Savannah in West Tennessee with a Samsung galaxy phone. The video was poor quality however I used Blender to separate the audio from the video. This was altered slightly with Audacity to reduce the constant noise of a distant motor boat.

Electro-magnetic interference from an AT&T; cordless phone handset CL82301 when held near the internal Ferrite antenna on the back right of a 13-year-old boombox set to the bottom end of the AM broadcast band. Recorded with Goldwave from line-in. The recording starts with tones from the phone on standby near the radio. You hear a series of nearly pure tones. The phone comes on and you hear a distorted dial tone. Then you hear distorted dtmf tones 1 through 0, then a ring. I disconnect and the phone continues sending to the base for a few seconds so you just hear a hum, then the idle tones are heard. For some reason the tones are at a different pitch and speed on different days or at different times of the day.
