This is a project I made for an article on my blog. It demonstrates measurement of a celestial object's elevation. I thought some elements in it could be useful to others. It includes other images from OpenClipart: "Compass Rose" by SeriousTux, "Satellite Icon" by uroesch, and "Little Green Alien" by laurent. EDIT: After uploading, I realized that my logo (AeroSavvy) runs off the image. I suppose this keeps my "great rejon remix rampage" going on. Although it's not a direct rejon remix this time. None the less, Arvin61r58 did a great job cleaning up one of rejon's submissions. I thought not all crabs are kings, some are just regular folk like us. So here is a normal cartoon crab with longer arms. A Thief with bag and flashlight, but batteries almost gone. This guy is good. He had another long night and got the goods. Sometimes we need to graphically represent Linux OS. Usually people do it with the Tux mascot, which have some disadvantages: it is cartoonish, the original version isn't very well drawn and it relies on gradients (www.linuxinsider.com/story/73339.html).This is an attempt to make a clean an elegant representation of Linux. It uses a single colour and no gradient, can be shrunk or enlarged fairly well.
