Field recording of the ocean surf at the Outer Banks, NC. Recorded approximately ten yards from the surf line on a zoom hand held recorder mounted under a beach umbrella. Record mode was 4 mic, using front and rear stereo mic pairs summed to stereo mix . Front (90 degree) mics facing ocean, (East). Rear (120 degree) mics facing the dunes, (West). Was a somewhat large surf day with shoulder to overhead sets. Enjoy ;)!
