Firstly, I decided to generate a click track. I kept only two clicks, and I changed the pitch of each one (deep for both, and one a bit deeper than the other). I also eased the high-pitched and highlighted the low-pitched.I deleted a little silence moment which was between the clicks, in order to have a rhythm similar to heartbeat.Finally, periodically, I repeatedly duplicated this clicks.

Starts and ends with trains arriving overhead into Ueno station, then general market atmos with male spruikers. Recorded in the Ameyoko markets in Tokyo in May 2008 using a Zoom H4. Unprocessed apart from a low frequency cut.

Plucking and tapping a thumb piano in a Tokyo drum museum in May 2008. Recorded on a Zoom H4, light eq and compression added in Ableton. It's pretty rough, lots of room noise but wanted to post it cos is it useable. If you tune this down an octave and stick it through a gtr amp, you can get some cool double bass/piano type sounds going, and some atmospherics from the squeaks and clunks. As with most files in this pack, this would have been made starting with noise or a simple tone that was progressively mangled and resampled multiple times, primarily through abusing the Warp feature inside of Ableton Live.Happens to sound a little like modular/analog synthesis I think.
