Raw audio of scraping a wet polystyrene bodyboard with my hands. Then processed and edited with a pitch shifter in Cubase to sound like a creature. Part of a sound library that creates vocalization sounds using only a bodyboard. Feel free to check out the full library here.This sound is NOT in the public domain. *You hear the distant sound of a machine and try to avoid it, maybe it can harm you... or it can make you disapear. You forgot to bring weapons with you and all you can find on this planet are silver colored stones and sand… You have to play it safe.*For this sound, I generate a tone with a sinusoidal waveform. I also applied effects (Wahwah, Fade out) and changed the speed and pitch. Everything was made on Audacity. Description du son :V’’ : Itération varié1) Masse: groupe nodal c’est-à-dire plusieurs sons complexes.2) Timbre harmonique: son riche en harmoniques, brillant3) Grain: le son est lisse car le son de base est une fondamentale pure (sinusoïde).4) Allure: il comporte un léger vibrato car il y a une modulation périodique du son, c’est-à-dire que la hauteur du son autour de sa tonalité varie. 5) Dynamique: l’attaque du son est brute, le son débute directement sans fondu d’ouverture. La hauteur reste stable et le son s’adoucit graduellement à la fin avec l’effet de fondu en fermeture. 6) Profil mélodique: les variations sont serpentines car on ne peut pas identifier clairement la séparation entre les notes, c’est plutôt fluide.7) Profil de masse: calibre.

Ambient recording during daytime between high buildings in a city. This is recorded on a small square with no direct traffic-sounds. All traffic (Low) is around the corner. Some dry leaves run over the street. Behind me a public parking garage (no traffic there). You hear the air handling system blow. In front of me the square. Only two boy and some jackdaws disturb the rest after 5 minute for a short time. To realize that sound, I used a recording of a walk in gravels.I increased the speed to give the impression that the person is running and I added a fade out effect so that we can understand that the character is running away.Last but not least, I used a noise reduction effect to make the sound clearer.Type de son : Itération Complexe (X'')Ici le son est plutot terne, dans le sens ou il s'agit d'un bruit tout ce qu'il y a de plus banal. Le son est plutot régulier de part son rythme mais chaque pas a une sonorité irrégulière avec le déplacement des cailloux. On entend bien que nous sommes dans le cadre d'un son naturel.Le son ne comporte pas de vibrato. L'attaque du son est abrupte, on entend tout de suite la course, il n'y a pas d'accélération. Les variation sont scalaires même si chaque pas ressemble à un autre. Ce son n'est ni filtré et n'a pas subi d'équalisation.
