Pointing the Colorino at the light from the window and moving it around. Then pressing the button in a pattern to produce the Morse code letters CQ at the end.the Colorino Talking Color Identifier and Light Probe produces a tone when you hold down the light probe button. It's a pocket sized 2-in-1 unit, which is a Color Identifier/Light Detector for the blind and colorblind. The stronger the light source, the higher the pitch. The more light it receives, the higher the pitch. So you can vary the pitch by moving and turning it.Recorded from line-in on my desktop using Goldwave. Low-pass filter was applied to lock out the 16khz sampling frequency.

a night time ambience at the beautiful Srah Srang reservoir in the middle of the Angkor Park. even though it is currently the rainy season it has not been raining for several days. therefore the ambience captured at this specific time of the year seems to be somewhat muted. although, this provided us with a quite clear recording in which one can distinguish easily between all protagonists: frogs, cicadas and crickets as well as humans, dogs and motorised vehicles.there was no other light than the stars and the reflections of the city of Siem Reap on the sky on the horizon. the moon has not risen yet at the time of the recording.The equipment used for this recording was: the Roland R-05 field recorder and the roland CS-15S stereo microphones. Enjoy....
