Yep, yet another watch, usually there's only 1 watch issued for a large area, but that night was an acception, there were 3 watches total but one I couldn't get because I wasn't near my equipment when it toned, simply because I wasn't expecting it. This is Severe Thunderstorm Watch #465 for Branch, Cass, and St. Josef counties in Southwestern MI. This was recorded at approximately 9:49 PM Eastern Daylight Time. This was recorded using a Midland WR100 weather radio and an APH Bookport Plus. A quick note: For watches, the only counties I mention are the ones mentioned in the recording, which is, of course, not all the counties under the watch usually. Some weather forecast offices will set the NWR transmitters they ontrol to say all counties under the watch, not just the ones in the transmitter's coverage zone. Mine is not the case, however.
