We stay with friends in a smaller town next to a small village here in Germany! You can find in any village in Germany a Church. I went on a Sunday to a smaller Church close by and recorded the sound from a close distance and from a long distance! It was the third time that I try recording this sound. I had people coming by or the wind noise was to high!But finally I got the sound that I needed! The length of the Bell Sound is about 6 minutes each! THEME - A Night at the Asylum: sounds that drive you crazyFor this piece, to sound were sampled from a previously recorded track. Sound 1 was the screeching of a door opening, which was used at the beginning of this piece. Sound 2 was a rubbish bin falling on the floor, which was looped over to form the rest of this piece. These sounds were brought into the same pitch, their speeds lowered and reverb was added. Lastly, this track was duplicated and its pitch changed which gave it a harmonic effect. This piece is disturbing, mainly due to the clanking that can be heard. The start also gives the impression that something is about to be announced.
