Peddlers selling Peto (typical food), on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, are announced by a particular sound. The sound is now an element of popular culture in the area, carrying connotations linked to life in the neighborhood. This sound is therefore a cultural value and has established itself as a geographical mark. There is also a mandarin fruit seller at the back.Unfortunately recorded by a Rode mic connected to a Panasonic camera recorder.Recorded in 48khz 16bit WAVE.

A change of fillings, with air suction, light drilling, gurgling and all it takes.A long take, slightly edited, with the voices of people involved cut out.96 Khz, 24bit take for those high-pitch noises, from a Zoom H6 with Zoom XY mic (electret condenser) at 90 degrees, taken at hip level to the left side of the patient, about 1 meter from the mouth.There's a radio in the background, evident on the more silent parts, and sometimes a bit of chatter. Moving the colorino in front of my old CRT computer monitor. The initial slow uptick in frequency is the monitor slowly warming up as it comes on. The modulation is complex and sounds like video to me. I tried to switch the pattern some by switching windows and moving the mouse. When the monitor is turned off the frequency goes down to the base almost instantly.the Colorino Talking Color Identifier and Light Probe produces a tone when you hold down the light probe button. It's a pocket sized 2-in-1 unit, which is a Color Identifier/Light Detector for the blind and colorblind. The stronger the light source, the higher the pitch. The more light it receives, the higher the pitch. So you can vary the pitch by moving and turning it.Recorded from line-in on my desktop using Goldwave. Low-pass filter was applied to lock out the 16khz sampling frequency.
