Recording the procedure of cleaning a mirror inside an ordinary bathroom.The recording took place inside a typical bathroom in Ilmenau, Germany.Recording Device : Zoom HN2Recording Technique : M/S, placed 2 meters away from the mirror. In addition to this, a towel was placed in front of the microphone. Finally an elevation of more or less 30 degrees was used.

Series of recordings I made in the mountains in the Chiang Mai region, Thailand, near the border with Myanmar. All recordings were made around midnight in a small valley I can’t find back on the map. One side of the hill had a small tea plantation, the other hillsides were covered with impenetrable vegetation. There was also a small water stream, which is where I made this recording. You can hear all kinds of night-time animals such as owls, insects and loud frogs; and the water, of course. The temperature was very agreeable at night. I listen to the recordings to relax or to cast my mind back to the mythical tropical rainforest. Sony PCM-D5050
