My good old Toshiba MQ01UBD100 2.5" 1TB external hdd. 5400rpm.Spin-up, some access noise while clicking random direcories and a great final "CLICK!!" after the plug was pulled.Recorded using a contact mic attached with a screw clamp. Left some marks but it was worth it :)
