Recorded with Lifecam hd300 as I was just recording from my bed near the window, sitting across the room saving earlier recordings. This one starts with a dog barking, you can hear a bird, me typing on my 13-year-old keyboard, and the NVDA screen-reader, I have it set to beep for status bars, so as more of the file is saved, the higher in pitch the beeps get. I have headphones on, but this high-pitched sound comes through from across the room. It wasn't really that loud...

Field recording of the ocean surf at the Outer Banks, NC. Recorded approximately ten yards from the surf line on a zoom hand held recorder mounted under a beach umbrella. Record mode was 4 mic, using front and rear stereo mic pairs summed to stereo mix . Front (90 degree) mics facing ocean, (East). Rear (120 degree) mics facing the dunes, (West).
