Toc de matinades is a form of Catalonian folk instrumental music, performed by a group of gralles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gralla_(instrument)) and timbals (https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timbal), which strolls the streets early in the mornings of local festivals to wake up neighbors for the celebrations.This recording was made in Barcelona on Feb 14, 2016, around 8:59 am, with occasion of Festes de Santa EulĂ lia, using a Zoom H1 (44.1 kHz, 16 bits).

web徐冰：回顧展
臺北市立美術館於2014年1月為國際當代藝術家徐冰主辦亞洲地區首度大型個展「徐冰：回顧展」，並邀請台灣資深策展人暨藝評學者王嘉驥策展。徐冰1955年生於重慶，1981年畢業於中央美術學院版畫系。1990年接受美國威斯康辛大學邀請，以榮譽藝術家身份移居美國，長期活躍歐美，是國際藝壇極為重視的當代華人藝術家。2007年起擔任北京中央美術學院副院長、教授。自1975年創作至今近40年，1991年在美國展出《天書》及《鬼打牆》，是其奠定藝術成就與地位的關鍵之作。他將東方的哲學思維方式及文化導入當代藝術創作中，作品對文字語言等溝通工具、藝術與文明的本質問題、不同物種與文化間的類似與衝突等進行批判性思考。從傳統木刻到裝置藝術、無法辨認的方塊字到文盲皆可識的標誌符號，寫生風景到研究漢字的性格的文字語言與符號學，作品包括版畫、紙上作品、行為藝術、大型裝置計畫等，類型深廣且多元，本展將展出從早期至今的重要作品計畫、新作與大型現地製作。

The ambience takes place in a forest near Madrid, on October, 2015. The sound is the reproduction of footsteps of a runner approaching. The effect that is produced is like a Doppler effect, but I didn't change the recording.I recorded it with a zoom H4N .The sound can be used as a background resource. I wanted to capture tramp of feet on gravel moving away, as a typical sound to be used in stories.
