Salvation army is playing at Kvilletorget, Gรถteborg. They play 6.00 pm every Wednesday during the summer on the square just outside my house. I put the recorder in my open window. This record is quite amusing: a dog start to yell in the beginning. At 16.44 do the ice cream truck passes by. Recorded early summer 2015 with a Zoom H1 and edited with Audacity.Please, contribute voluntarily to freesound if you download this and other files of me.I will be happy and grateful if you share some response!

A late afternoon near ICHOT Museum in Poznań, Poland. The place is located on the small river and two bridges are nearby - on the left, two-lane hispeed street with tramways passes the river, on the right - trains.Mainly you can hear permanent noise of the road (but some different traffic sound sources are clearly audible) and conversation between women who where several meters from me. Some trams passes the bridge with loud, vibrant noise. In the end of this recording, there is a nice case - in the left channel you can hear a tram while in the right one - a train.

Assignment 10 for Coursera ASPMA 2016I created this music piece by using Audacity DAW to combine sounds (wav, mono, samplerate:44100, bitdepth:16) and their transformations (done with sms-tools). But for the singing and the aerophone sounds, I used the Blackman window because ir favours frequency resolution over time resolution.Let me know you opinion about the final mix.___________________________________________________________________________Tarea 10 para Coursera ASPMA 2016Para crear esta pieza musical combiné sonidos (wav, mono, samplerate:44100, bitdepth:16) y sus transformaciones (hechas con sms-tools) usando Audacity DAW. Los sonidos originales (listados arriba) corresponden a dos tipos de tradiciones de canto no occidentales, dos tipos de percusiones y un aerófono.Al trabajar con sms-tools, apliqué la ventana Hamming para reconstruir los sonidos de percusión porque así se favorece a la resolución en el tiempo, en lugar de la resolución en frecuencia. Pero para los sonidos de cantos y el aerófono, apliqué la venta Blackman porque así se favorece la resolución en frecuencia, en lugar de la resolución en el tiempo.Déjame conocer tu opinión sobre la mezcla final.
