小學五年級上學期的藝術與人文學習領域有一個單元是「大地守護神」，內容在與孩子討論人們對生活環境的感受所形成的民俗藝術，正巧可以對應到原住民的祭儀、樂舞和圖騰，遂進行以「台灣南島民族」為主的館校合作教學，期使孩子在此學習、樂此學習。
