I recorded a pretty gnarly storm on 8/25 around 1:30 AM. The cars are off the road but you still get that city reflection. I placed two rode nt5s in my living room windows and set them to record for about nine minutes.It wouldn't be great for an outdoor situation but it's a good "thunderstorm from an apartment in the city" recording.It's in 16 44.1, stereo. Electro-magnetic interference from an AT&T; cordless phone handset CL82301 charging in the charger when held and moved around near the internal Ferrite antenna on the back right of a 13-year-old boombox. The radio was set to 580 KHZ WIBW from Topeka. You can hear the station in and out as the signal from the phone waxes and wanes as I move it around the back of the radio. Recorded with Goldwave from line-in. You hear the signal to the base unit which is a low pulsed buzz, as well as the processor noise as it's charging.
