Experiment in 17 steps. I have a pocket type length measure steel band. On the plastic housing there is a thin steel fork for hanging the 5 meter band housing on your leather belt. I happened to snap with finger nail across the thin fork, and found a interesting vibrating sound : spoinggg that lastes for about 1 second. I recorded the spoinggg in NERO Wave-Pad Editor and made digital processing in NERO Sound Trax.
