My idea for the 2010 spring project was to create a set of signs that could represent marker signs in someones garden as they plant the seeds. Spring is gardening time, so that's how it fits the theme. I was unable to complete as many vegetables as I had hoped, but I can add them here in OpenClipart as time allows me to create them.

This is a Chinese dragon. Red and Yellow are lucky colors in China (in fact, incidentally according to the internet yellow pencils were first made yellow by a Chinese company Koh-I-Noor, they used yellow to show a reference to royalty, and as they made such reliable, high quality pencils, other companies copied them and that's why the habit of making yellow pencils started. But I digress!) This one was originally not yellow and red, but I just thought it looked more vivid this way. I added some lighter yellow tints to make it seem like it was shiny, like gold!

The wonderful user 'viethavvh' on Wikimedia uploaded a nice public domain picture of this young woman in a red wedding Ao Dai (traditional clothes for girls in Vietnam) ... I isolated her from the background and changed some details, and then synthesized it here. Not sure if anyone will need it though...
