Holding the Colorino in front of the LED at the on-off switch of my old Astron power supply that powers my Icom 2-meter ham radio and amplifier. This is one of those AC LED's with a somewhat complex modulation pattern. The sound got more complicated toward the end as I tried to put my finger in there without interrupting the light to turn off the switch. The light comes right out of the switch, so I couldn't do it.The Colorino Talking Color Identifier and Light Probe produces a tone when you hold down the light probe button. It's a pocket sized 2-in-1 unit, which is a Color Identifier/Light Detector for the blind and colorblind. The stronger the light source, the higher the pitch. The more light it receives, the higher the pitch. So you can vary the pitch by moving and turning it.Recorded from line-in on my desktop using Goldwave. Recorded with Lifecam hd3000 so you can hear it's native speaker. Pointing the Colorino at the sunny window for a second or two moving it around and pressing the llight probe button. I also switched it from low to high volume. You also hear the battery low beep. as well as NVDA with Eloquence formant synthesizer talking about Goldwave, saying the current file that's recording, untitled 29.
