I've always found beauty contests really strange. People stand on stage and other people judge them for their physical similarities to an abstract mathematical concept of ratios and acceptable curves. Although I basically drew this by hand, I was inspired by an (incidentally public domain!) image documenting the annual banquet and beauty pageant sponsored by "The Dominicans of New Jersey" in 1994.
