I literally dug through tons of old public domain books and magazines trying to find monsters for speedstar. I found a lot of monsters (I think) but I also found a ton of non-monsters. I thought I should upload the non-monster clipart too. It took awhile to synthesize it all, but I hope it's worth it. It's hard to imagine this was drawn in 1908 (and thus clearly public domain) because it looks like a publicity drawing for "The Golden Compass" or something.
