Recorded on July 26, 2002 close to the movie isle at Webster's Department Store. This is how the webster's checkout area sounded from 2002 to 2007. Note: this is a little shorter than the others. This is part of a pack of 4k sounds recorded over 17 years commemorating my friend's department store which she owned. It showcases how the sounds in the store have changed over the years as the technology of the store changes. Each recording is done within a week after the cash registers are upgraded. As of the date of this posting, Webster's is now closed, and will re-open as a WalMart in January of 2016.
