The first of two early morning recordings on an unusually still day on Lanzarote's LZ-30 highway, which runs through a valley of vineyards. Very quiet ambience. Sparse single vehicles (mainly cars and trucks) passing on a slight incline, so the trucks can be heard labouring slightly. Recorded around 12m from the side of the road. Light intermittent wind. Occasional very distant birdsong and agricultural machinery. Passing pair of cyclists clearly audible between 6m40s and 8m15s. Zoom H4n recorder.
