本影片讓學生學習閱讀Maps (Compass Rose)上含的資訊並理解相關內容，影片中分為兩個部分協助學生學習。首先，介紹map(地圖)的功用及Compass Rose (羅盤玫瑰)的作用為顯示Cardinal directions (基本方向)。之後，利用不同的地圖讓學生練習描述正確的方位及地理位置，例如Canada is to the north of the USA.／New Taipei City is to the east of Taoyuan County.／South Korea is to the south of North Korea.／South America is to the south west of South Korea.。最後，藉由練習題讓學生應用所學內容。
